Youth Ministry
It is our goal to help each young person grow in their knowledge of God's will and walk according to it.
We believe that every part of the body of Christ is valuable, and we are grateful for the ministry of our youth among us. These are crucial years when young people are beginning to formulate their own thoughts and beliefs and we desire our youth to fully embrace God’s call on their lives to be disciple makers. It is not the role of the Church to replace or step-in for parents but it is to equip and walk alongside of them as they raise our youth up in the Lord.
Our Youth Ministry (reBorn) aims to see the lives of those in 6th-12th grade transformed by and encouraged in the gospel. Although the focus is on this particular age group, Youth Ministry is not a separate ministry of Redeemer. It is simply an additional place where teenagers receive instruction on the three core values that serve as the DNA for Redeemer which is:
GOSPEL: reBorn exists to preach (word and deed) the Gospel to teens at Redeemer and to equip them to share the gospel effectively in their own local context.
COMMUNITY: reBorn acts as a community and connection point for Redeemer teenagers. It provides an additional environment where teens can serve and hold one another accountable.
MISSION: reBorn provides unique opportunities to serve the community through various projects which provide opportunities to bless others and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Please join us for a time of fun, worship, and serious study of the Word of God.
Bible Study
-
Bi-weekly youth group on Sunday evenings, 6-8 pm for teenagers. We play a few games, worship, share testimonies and study the Word together. Our studies aim to exalt Christ in a way to help teens grow a deep reverence and understanding of who God is and why we're here.
Activities
-
We offer activities that are designed for teens to interact with each other socially, but our main goal is to help them deepen their understanding of the Bible and grow in their love for Jesus. We aim to teach our teens the that Gospel changes everything, including their time together. We want to model gospel-encouraged fun and laughter.
-
We have several activities planned throughout the year. All youth participants need to have a Consent Form on file. The form can be downloaded below and returned to the church or at the next youth event. Visit our church calendar to find upcoming youth events.
