Josh served as the main teaching pastor when Redeemer began in 2008. He is a graduate of Maranatha Baptist University and Shepherds Theological Seminary. He has also earned a doctorate in preaching from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Josh is the author of Exalting Jesus in John—a commentary in the Christ-Centered Exposition series—and 30 Days to 1 Samuel. He and his wife, Cari, have 3 boys.
Don graduated with a degree in Secondary Education and taught high school life sciences for 21 years. He also has an M.A. in Theology, with a major in Christian Apologetics from Trinity Theological Seminary. He served as an associate pastor for seven years in Cary, NC. His wife, Kay, is a professor of Organic Chemistry at North Carolina State University.
Chris is a graduate of the College of Electrical Engineering at NC State University, and now manages a technical marketing team at Red Hat Corporation. He made a profession of faith at the age of eight, and truly surrendered his life to God at sixteen. Chris served as a deacon for seven years and an elder for five years in Raleigh, NC. He and his wife, Mindy, have been blessed with two sons, Jackson and Ross.
Don Curry has been a member of Redeemer Community Church since its inception in 2008, serving as a deacon at Redeemer before joining the elder team. A graduate of NC State, Don is a civil engineer and owner of an engineering firm here in Fuquay-Varina. He is married to Juli (a native Fuquay-Varinian) and they have 3 wonderful children.
Russ Duncan is a graduate of NC State and now teaches mathematics at Apex High School. He was saved at the age of 8, and has seen Christ's work of sanctification over the years. He has been a part of many short term missions trips, including trips to Malta, Kenya and Thailand. Russ and his wife Kate have five children, Emma, Elijah, Matthew, Zachary and Jonathan and live in Fuquay-Varina.
Bruce is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Secondary Math Education. He taught high school math and science for 16 years before entering the business world. He is currently semi-retired but works as a part time contractor. Bruce and his wife, Sally, have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren.
