Children’s Ministry

Leading our children to follow Jesus.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
– Matthew 19:14 (ESV) –

Our children’s ministry exists to assist parents in leading their children to follow Jesus.

We take seriously the responsibility to provide a safe and loving environment in which children can learn. Each lesson and activity strives to help children know Jesus, understand His Word, and share Jesus’ love with others!

Our Children’s Ministry aims to join parents in shepherding the children. Our hope and prayer is that by God’s grace, these children would bear much fruit in following Jesus.

Classroom Age Groups

  • 0 – 2 years (Seeds)
  • 3 – 4 years (Acorns)
  • K – 1st grade (Saplings)
  • 2nd – 3rd grade (Pines)
  • 4th – 5th grade (Oaks)

Safety & Check-In

In order to help each child in their spiritual journey, we take extensive steps to ensure that they feel and remain safe while in our care. Each volunteer teacher is a church member who has been prepared and vetted to work with your child by means of a background check.

Each class has someone at the door who will greet you and ensure your children are in the right classroom. If your child has any specific health needs, fool allergies or other things the teacher should be aware of, you can provide that information at check-in.

Curriculum

We use a mix of theologically sound curriculum and resources that help children of all ages come to understand the Bible. If you would like to learn more about the curriculum that we’re currently using, please email us at info@redeemernc.org.
