South Wake Bible Institute is the idea of a group of pastors in the Fuquay-Varina area with a desire to help other pastors and churches in southern Wake and northern Harnett counties make disciple-making disciples who can effectively lead their local churches in pushing back the darkness and building God’s Kingdom.

 

We aim to accomplish this by equipping, encouraging, and developing people through biblical theological training and practical ministry training. SWBI will offer classes that are more in-depth and demanding than Sunday School.

 

We will provide the context for diving more deeply into Scripture and theology in engaging, collaborative classroom settings. SWBI can also be a port of entry for the individual that is considering seminary. In fact, some of our classes can be taken for credit through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

 

Our main desire is not to replace seminary training, but to help support the local church in equipping leaders to more effectively serve their church and community. We believe that we can best do this by leveraging the gifts of our local churches and doing it together!
